If you are using ErgoLab to measure people other than yourself, then Motioncatch requires that you comply with our Data Transparency Policy.
Motioncatch aspires to protect data integrity and data privacy. But we cannot do this alone. We rely on every organization to build trust with people whose motion data they leverage. We rely on every product to respect users by very clearly informing them if their motion data is stored or transferred to another system — and more importantly why.
Our Data Transparency Policy states that:
- Use of ErgoLab needs to implement active user acceptance: informing people what you are doing with their data and why.
- It is encouraged to visualize for the user when storage or transfer of user data occurs (e.g. an ergonomic report or raw data).
- The user should understand the benefits they receive by providing their data.
